Holly Cokinos

Dietitian | RDN, LD

Currently seeing clients virtually.

Holly attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Bachelor of Science degree after completing the Coordinated Program in Dietetics. She became a Registered Dietitian in 2004 and worked in a variety of healthcare settings, supporting people with a wide range of health conditions and nutrition concerns. She previously worked as a consultant dietitian in long-term care and as the outpatient dietitian for a large acute-care hospital in the Medical Center in Houston.

Through her experience as a dietitian, Holly discovered that restrictive diets are not sustainable long-term and often cause harm. She discovered Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size TM and now practices from a non-diet, weight-inclusive perspective. She became a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor to better support her clients who are ready to reject diet culture and heal their relationship with food and their bodies. She has experience working with eating disorders and disordered eating, pregnancy, PCOS, women in midlife, and parents who want a better approach to feeding their families. She also is well-versed in Medical Nutrition Therapy for various health concerns such as diabetes/prediabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and more. Holly thoroughly enjoys collaborating with clients by supporting them on their journey towards food peace, helping them learn to trust their internal wisdom, and empowering them to care for themselves in line with their values. She lives in the Houston suburbs with her husband and son.
