Brooke is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist whose goal is to help clients make sense of nutrition information and make peace with food. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Communication Studies. After several years working in education and non-profit fundraising, she returned to the University of Houston to complete the didactic program in dietetics, the UH Dietetic Internship, and the master’s program in Human Nutrition.

Brooke utilizes a food-neutral ideology in her work with children + adolescents, families, and individuals seeking guidance for disordered eating, general nutritional counseling, and non-diet focused weight management. She provides medical nutrition therapy for high cholesterol, thyroid issues, and type 2 diabetes. She believes success comes from understanding and incorporating each client’s personal preferences, cultural influences, and underlying health conditions. She is looking forward to working in partnership with you to support your health goals.

Specialties: disordered eating, intuitive eating, non-diet approach to feeding families and children, non-diet approach nutrition counseling for prediabetes, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease, high cholesterol, thyroid issues, and other general health concerns.
